What does your company do? New Star builds the highest quality multi-family, commercial, and residential properties.
What do you do for your company? I am responsible for producing a flow of potential projects. I do this through networking with developers, architects, and owners who are looking to work with a great builder. I manage the presentation of all outgoing materials through our social media, proposals, website, print media, etc.
What are you working on right now? New Star has decided to do what we can to help as many people as we can during this uneasy time; so much of my time lately has been spent overseeing gifts for our contacts, distributing nearly 500 COVID-kits to the homeless and others in need, while also maintaining my marketing and business development responsibilities.
Best career advice you’ve received? Never look back in regret. Even the most catastrophic failures serve to make you better tomorrow. Regret is nothing but a waste of time and energy.
Best career advice you’ve given? Never be satisfied with mediocrity.
What is one thing people don’t know about you? On a dare, I entered a break-dancing contest, and without ever break-dancing before, took second place. Do not ask me to demonstrate. Ha.
