Lindsey Parker and Jim Balderson, Public Affairs Chair and Co-Chair have updated the tracking chart of bills being discussed in the Utah legislative session that we have deemed of particular importance to the NAIOP community.

Legislative Tracking – February 15, 2018

In addition, Nate Ballard, Jim Balderson, Daniel Stephens, and Jake Despain of the Utah NAIOP board, along with our Executive Director Lindsay Cleverly, participated in NAIOP’s annual national conference in Washington, DC this month. As part of the conference, our delegation met with senior staff members and legislative directors for the following Utah officials:

  • Senator Lee
  • Representative Love
  • Representative Bishop
  • Representative Curtis
  • Representative Stewart

Discussions focused on NAIOP’s key national priorities for 2018 โ€“ capital and credit availability, energy and environmental concerns, and transportation and infrastructure initiatives. Our messages were very well-received. We are happy to report that each office expressed its support for NAIOP and its platforms and goals.
